SpyCloud Technologies ("SpyCloud", "we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of every visitor and customer. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you interact with our website, sales team or installed services, how that information is used, and your rights over it.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you give us

• Contact details (name, mobile, email, city) submitted via our quote, site-survey, contact or careers forms.
• Site notes you describe — area, number of cameras / users, deadlines, existing infrastructure, etc.
• Resume / CV files when you apply to an open role.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Standard request logs from our web servers (IP address, browser type, page visited, timestamp) — used for security, anti-abuse and uptime monitoring.
• UTM parameters in URLs (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) to understand which campaign brought you to us.
• Google reCAPTCHA telemetry — used solely to differentiate humans from automated form submissions. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry, schedule a site survey or send a quotation.
• To deliver, install, support and maintain the products and services you purchase.
• To send transactional emails relating to your enquiry or active project — never marketing without your consent.
• To improve our website, marketing copy and service offerings.
• To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations in India.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with:

• Our own engineering, support and accounts teams, on a strict need-to-know basis.
• OEM partners and distributors when warranty registration, configuration or installation requires it.
• Hosting, email-delivery and analytics providers that operate strictly under our instructions.
• Government, law-enforcement or regulatory authorities, where compelled by a valid legal process.

4. Cookies & tracking

Our website uses essential cookies for session state and security. Aggregated analytics may be collected to count page visits and measure performance. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers. You can control or disable cookies via your browser settings.

5. Data retention

• Lead and quote enquiries: retained for up to 36 months from last interaction, unless you ask us to erase them sooner.
• Active customer records: retained for the duration of the engagement plus the statutory retention period required for tax and accounting (currently 8 years under Indian law).
• Job applications: retained for up to 12 months from submission, then deleted unless you have asked us to keep your CV on file.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information — including TLS-encrypted transport, restricted database access, hashed passwords for administrative accounts and regular off-site backups. No system is perfectly secure, however; please notify us immediately if you suspect a breach.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable Indian data-protection law, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete details.
• Request deletion of your personal information, where there is no overriding legal obligation to retain it.
• Withdraw consent to receive transactional / marketing communications.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page and, where reasonable, communicated to active customers directly. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current revision.
